In order to focus more intensely on creating original wedding cinema, this will be the last wedding that I have photographed. Thankfully, I “retired” on a beautiful note. Avan & George found me through their sister. She was a photographer and loved how the film I shot stood out from other photographers she was considering.
Fast forward to May, I met all of the wedding party at the Fiddlewood Farms, just outside of Keswick VA. Their ceremony site was perched on a hill in the middle of a lush wooded pasture. Their sendoff was the first time I got to witness paper lanterns. I loved this because it caused all the wedding guests and party to work together in groups of three or more to get it to launch. It took some time and patience, but it was always a little celebration once the lantern started to lift.
Avan and George, I wish you guys all the best in your future. Thanks for making my last one so memorable!
